MCC EVENT - Mad Scientist Tea Party - AUGUST 2010

The Manchester Science Festival runs each October half-term with 200 events across Greater Manchester. There are walks, talks, workshops, shows, comedy, exhibitions and more all in the name of science!

In August 2010 our very own Marbella held a tea party in Cathedral Gardens (just outside Urbis)!
They were teaching people the science behind making tea and coffee, it was chemistry with a cuppa as it where as people came along to blend their own brews. They were able to concoct a variety of different delicious brews all from Marbella's very own hand picked tea blends, as well as learning about what ingredients reacted best together.
And of course in true Marbella style those blended brews were perfectly complemented with a selection Marbella's taste combusting cupcakes!

If you would like to find out more info about Marbella it can be found here.
